Cross Over events and Base Camps
God is using churches of all sizes, from the United States and other parts of the globe, to
evangelize and disciple the people of West Africa. These churches are making a long-term commitment to work in West Africa. Some are working in areas where there is no other Gospel presence.
There are still hundreds more people groups waiting to hear. Attend a West Africa Cross Over event to find out how your church can help get the Gospel to them.
Cross Over Events
Cross Over events (previously called "Summits") give churches like yours the opportunity to talk personally with West Africa representatives and learn about ministry opportunities to reach West Africans in this region and all over the world. Typical seminar topics include: profiles of priority people groups; vision trips; spiritual warfare; evangelism tools, cultural training; and more.
Upcoming Cross Over event:
February 25-27, 2009
Hunter Street Baptist Church, Hoover, Ala. (near Birmingham)
Base Camps
Base Camps are training and networking conferences for churches who’ve already committed to serve as an Engaging or Partnering Church in West Africa. They’re great opportunities to hear testimonies of God’s work and pick up practical suggestions and new ministry techniques. Typical workshop seminars include: trip planning; discipleship and leadership training; cultural insights; and more.
Upcoming Base Camp II (for churches who have already been to a Base Camp)
Feb. 25-27, 2009
