On The Air
Part 2 - God's Word Spreads Across West Africa

an african man sits next two his radio on the floor"The Way of Righteousness" is a series of 100, 15-minute Bible lessons. The Old Testament lessons were completed more than four years ago and now after many interruptions, all of the remaining New Testament lessons have been recorded in Futa Toro Pulaar, the language of the Futa Toro Fulani people. Since the vast majority of these people cannot read the Scriptures in any language, having these Bible stories available on radio broadcasts and cassette tapes will make it accessible to every person who speaks Futa Toro Pulaar.

Pray for the production and distribution of audiocassettes. Ask that local radio stations might be willing to broadcast this reading of the New Testament. Petition the Father to fulfill His promise in Isaiah 55:11. Pray that the hearts of those who hear will be open to understanding and receiving the Word of Truth.

Tom Smith -  Futa Toro Fulani (FU-tah TOH-roh fu-LAH-nee) Team

A small group of Fulbe believers recently finished recording a series of radio programs that cover the entire book of Acts in Fulfulde, the language of the Fulbe. These programs are broadcast across West Africa via a radio transmitter in Europe. The programs are not only for radio broadcast, but will also be used to disciple Fulbe believers. Since the majority of the Fulbe cannot read, discipleship material on cassette tapes or CDs is a vital tool. The studio technician has been working to put all of the Fulfulde Chrisitian radio programs onto CDs that can be duplicated or copied onto cassettes for broader use.

Praise God that a radio station in another West African country also wants to air these Fulfulde programs. Pray that the CDs of these Christian radio programs will soon be available for distribution to those who will use them to spread God's word among the Fulbe people.
