The Vigue live in 12 villages in southwest Burkina Faso. The largest village, Karankasso-Vigue, has a population of about 1,000. The other villages are located within 12-15 miles of Karankasso-Vigue. During the summer of 2006, college students spent time in Vigue villages doing sports ministries to build relationships and learn the language. An Engaging Church has joined in the ministry, building on relationships that have already been established.
