The Fulbe still maintain a mindset of “wandering” due to their background as herders looking for the best grazing land for their cattle. Now many of the Fulbe, instead of hearding cattle, can be found worldwide as they have either traveled themselves, or have family members living in several different countries. They are in search of a better life, yet they have strong ties to their home villages and families. They highly value their language, culture, and own ability to influence their individual situations.
