The Afade live in the Lake Chad Basin in northern Nigeria, Chad, and Cameroon.  It is an area that is difficult to reach in the rainy season from July to November.  April to June can be extremely hot.  Though there are a few churches in the area, their worship is in the Hausa language.  However, many of the Afade speak Hausa.
