Adja of Benin - Evangelism leading to church is the goal of this job request. You will use Participative Bible storying as the evangelism and discipleship tool that will lead to planting churches in the village of Aplahoue and Azove and the surrounding area. The ministry will evolve in the following ways: 1. Make contact with students through ESL classes. 2. Tell stories at these ESL classes that lead to decisions and discipleship. 3. Follow up these ESL classes with discipling those that come to Christ, using a mixture of English and media in local language. 4. Make contact into the surrounding villages through the students that are in your ESL classes. 5. Encourage students in discipleship to start groups in their own villages. 6. Teach Jennifer, a 5th or 6th grader, school. This village is an educational center with a high school which means that students from all the surrounding villages will be there and if you reach them they will reach their home villages. It is as well a central market which means much contact with surrounding areas. Living conditions will be a Peace Corps level of living, with running water and electricity. You will live with bare essentials: table, bed, a chair or two, kerosene lamp if needed, and very few luxuries. Housing can also be arranged in a family compound where you will have your own room but other essentials will be shared with the family that houses you.
